We use this data to provide accounts, adapt practice, remember progress, investigate failures and improve teaching. Supabase provides authentication, database storage and backend services. OpenAI generates and reviews questions; Typesafe/Jev analyses learning evidence and plans practice. Relevant questions, answers and learning context are sent to these AI services. We do not intentionally send your account email or name in tutor prompts; anything you type in an answer may be included. Do not enter sensitive personal information in answers.
Google processes information if you choose Google sign-in. Service providers may process data outside your country. Their retention and processing depend on their policies and our account settings; we do not promise zero retention by AI providers.
The app uses internet access. Notifications are optional and requested when you enable reminders; you can disable them in your profile or phone settings. Android may restore reminders after a restart and briefly wake the device to deliver them. We do not request camera, microphone, contacts, location or advertising-ID access. We do not display ads or sell personal data.
Connections to the backend use HTTPS. Private provider credentials remain on the server. Account data and internal tutor logs are access-controlled. No system can guarantee absolute security.
Account, learning and usage records are kept until account deletion. Our scheduled diagnostic cleanup removes tutor logs older than 30 days on its daily run. Automatic age-based deletion of account, learning and usage rows is not configured. You can request access, correction, an export or deletion by emailing us. Request account deletion. Deletion removes account-linked records from the active database. Infrastructure backups, security logs and data already processed by service providers follow their separate retention settings and policies.
Papermind is intended for JEE preparation. If you are below the age at which you can consent to data processing in your country, a parent or guardian must authorise your use. Contact us about a minor’s data or to request deletion. We do not use learning estimates to make admission decisions.
